Texas-Size Collection Draws Strong Interest and Spirited Bidding
Auto aficionados from across North America and as far away as Europe descended on North Texas last weekend for the esteemed Wayne Davis Collection auction event.
Highlights of the sale included a 1953 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible which attracted a final bid of $440,000, a 1957 Dual-Ghia Convertible which sold for $319,000, and a 1960 Plymouth Fury Convertible which brought $253,000. The star attraction of the memorabilia offering was a 32-foot Cadillac neon sign, which sold for an impressive $115,000.
