RM Auctions presented the esteemed collection of broadcasting legend Art Astor in Anaheim, California this past weekend with the impressive results totaling over $15 million. The product of over thirty years of collecting, the Astor Collection comprised over 200 mint vintage automobiles, as well as one of the world’s most significant collections of radios, telephones and related memorabilia.
An incredible turnout and keen bidding resulted in such highlights as the stunning 1938 Cadillac V16 Convertible Coupe selling for $616,000 and the beautiful 1933 Chrysler CL Imperial Sport Phaeton, which sold for $462,000.
