Hershey Generates Sweet Results

On October 10th, RM Auctions’ respected Vintage Motor Cars of Hershey took place at the venerable Hershey Lodge, with excellent results. Highlights include a luxurious 1933 Duesenberg Model SJ Phaeton which sold for a notable $1,688,500 and a beautiful 1917 Pierce-Arrow Model 48 Model Touring Car which saw a price of $385,000. In addition, an incomparable and historic 1913 Locomobile sold for $357,500. Prices for pint-sized masterpieces did not disappoint, with a miniature version of a 1956 pink Cadillac, Josie’s ’56, designed by the team at Dale Adams Enterprises, sold for an impressive $34,000. Truly a Grand Night at the Museum

Guests at the AACA Fall Meet were treated to a wonderful evening celebrating a Night at the Museum on Wednesday, October 8th. This worthwhile event was organized by the AACA with assistance from RM Auctions to support the vital role the AACA plays in the field of antique automobiling. There was a multitude of marvelous items up for live and silent auction bidding and attendees demonstrated their enthusiasm and generosity for the cause, raising over $120,000 for the AACA. Sincere thanks to everyone involved with this entertaining and enjoyable evening.
